Citrus Chimichurri Sauce
A classic South American sauce with a citrus flair! Citrus Chimichurri Sauce is great over marinated meats like beef and chicken, tacos, and more! The tanginess of the citrus juices and zest make this a perfect topping that you’ll love!
Citrus Chimichurri

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Flat-leaf Parsley
- 1 Cup Cilantro
- 1 Large Shallot
- 1 clove Garlic
- Zest ½ Orange
- Zest ½ Lemon
- Zest ½ Lime
- Juice ½ Orange
- Juice ½ Lemon
- Juice ½ Lime
- ½ teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper (Optional)
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1/3 Cup Olive Oil
Instructions

Coarsely chop the Parsley, Cilantro, Shallot, and Garlic.

Add all the ingredients in a food processor except the Olive Oil and pulse.

Slowly add in the Olive Oil and continue to pulse until well blended, but do not purée. The end result should be slightly chunky, not smooth.
Recipe Notes
Variation: add 1/2 teaspoon of Crushed Red Pepper for a little kick!
Tip: Remember to always Zest before cutting and juicing the citrus.
