⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rating: 5 out of 5.Best Barbeque (BBQ) Rub is my special and original spice blend that I use for anything BBQ. This can be used for a wide variety of food, from smoked baby back ribs to BBQ chicken. You can use this on fries, oven roasted potatoes, chicken wings, whatever you want! However you decide to use this, my special BBQ spice rub adds flavor that elevates your grilling experience to whole new level!
What Is a Spice Rub?
A Spice Rub is a blend of spices and herbs that is used to season meats by gently rubbing the blend into the meat. This provides better penetration into the meat and better adhesion so the spice blend does not fall off during cooking.
Barbequed meat is the most common use for spice rubs, however, there are many other uses. I use a curry blend I made up for chicken that is absolutely amazing.
Many spice rubs also work great as a seasoning on grilled or roasted vegetable and potatoes as well as french fries!
My favorite spice rubs are my own homemade rubs. However, there are plenty of store bought rubs that taste great and save time.

Recipe Pro Tips
Proper Storage. Most seasonings and spices only last about 6 months. I found these
Prepare in Advance. This rub tastes great regardless of how soon you use it after mixing it. However, if you mix this a few days in advance, it allows time for the individual flavors to become more blended. The benefit is the rub will take on it’s own unique flavor.
What Are Some Variations of Best Barbeque (BBQ) Rub?
Add Heat. Add a little (or a lot depending on your heat tolerance level) cayenne pepper or some other hot spice that you like to make a spicy BBQ rub.
Put Some Mustard on It. One of the best ways to use this is to first mustard the meat you plan on using. Yellow mustard is commonly used as a base in BBQ because it adds so much flavor. Even if you don’t like mustard, you’ll love this because you don’t get a mustard flavor. So go ahead and spread yellow mustard on the meat first, then sprinkle the rub on it. The two working together will send your taste buds soaring!
