Asparagus with Garlic and Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Asparagus
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Snap off the first inch or so of the root end of the asparagus.

  2. In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus, salt and pepper and cook about 5 minutes, stirring often.

  3. Add the butter and garlic powder and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring often, to make the asparagus crispy.
